#GetupandDance
A sense of community can be found through dance. This campaign aims to get people up and dancing in a way where expressing oneself becomes easy. A pathway for people to release the pressures and challenges of everyday societal stressors.
The target audience for this campaign are middle aged adults and elderly individuals who may have lost their passion and spark for dance as time progressed. However this campaign is for everyone no matter your age or background.
GOALS
This campaign goal is to get over 300 middle aged adults and elders to come out to annual #GetupandDance events across the DMV area.
METRICS
Metrics will be measured by how many individuals register on the#GetupandDance social media platform and show up in person to dance.
PLATFORM
The platform this campaign will utilize is Facebook. With a majority of adults and elders on this app, we will reach their timelines through infographics and statistics about dance and why they should start.
These infographics will be published on #GetupandDance social media platforms such as Facebook and in the newsletter individuals sign up for on the page.




User engagement for the #GetupandDance will be measured through how many individuals utilize the hashtag on social media platforms whether at dance events, and/or partaking in social media dance contests.
The #GetupandDance social media challenge entails requiring users to take a video/image of themselves dancing for a chance to win a brand new scooter or a flight to Belize.
